Jerry York becomes the most successful coach in college history in Minneapolis.

Boston College beats Alabama-Huntsville 5-2 at the Mariucci Arena for York’s 925th win, a record for collegiate hockey coaches. York, who coached at Clarkson and Bowling Green before returning to his alma mater Boston College, in 1994, finishes his 50-year career with 1,123 wins and five NCAA championships (four of them at B.C.) before he retires in April 2022.
